Feelings about writing under the cut 😩

Contrary to what some people believe and what’s been implied behind my back I don’t write for notes I write for myself and to entertain my friends so when my friends just ignore my work it makes me even less motivated to sit down to write even as much as I love doing so. Like it just just sucks if I’m being honest. Even though I started writing for this fandom less than a year ago I’ve been writing since I was a kid and it’s one of my favorite hobbies I have.

I’m not trying to whine and expect everyone to drop everything to read what I post the second it is posted because I know how life goes and we all have lives to live outside of this app it just makes me sad when people ask to be on the taglist and then never touch said fics, or they started reading it and then just stopped out of nowhere so I don’t even know if they’re caught up or not and thus don’t want to spoil anything to them.

Idk I don’t mean to whine on main I just get sad when I think about how the readership has dropped off significantly. And I think anyone who creates art of any kind can agree that your work suddenly getting ignored for stupid and petty reasons feels like absolute shit.
